The Urban Dictionary defines “obliteracy” as the “Inability to read due to excessive alcohol consumption.” Information Obliteracy is the inability to deal with the overwhelming flow of information. The inability to “recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information.” This blog is a place for me to hash out some ideas about libraries, librarianship, and technology.
